Patient Participation Group (PPG)

As we value the opinion of our patients Alexander House Surgery and welcome feedback.

We have an established Patient Participation Group with both a Virtual group and a Face-to-Face contributions.  All of our patients are very welcome to give feedback via the PPG.
Please ask at reception to sign up and you will soon be contacted.

The Virtual PPG group may be contacted once or twice a year and asked to complete an on-line survey.  This will usually contain 10 – 15 questions and only take about 10 – 15 minutes to complete.  It is a valuable way for us to understand how you think we are doing and what you would like from your surgery.

The Face-to-Face PPG group meets a minimum of four times a year at the surgery to discuss all aspects of our GP Surgery including staff changes, changes to service provision and anything else of interest.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts.

On Friday the 19th January we will be using Accurx triage for online communication with patients. This will be replacing eConsult. Most patients will have already used Accurx when receiving or responding to SMS messages. We are making this change in response to feedback.

Accurx allows you, as the patient, to describe in your own words how we can help you. It also allows the team to have a much more open dialogue, ask more relevant questions and direct you to the most appropriate service. Those not wishing to use online methods will still have the same access via the telephones or by visiting reception and will be asked similar questions.

We would like to thank you for your support and patience in the interim.
