Whooping cough cases increase

Sharon Boylett
MSc PGDip Dip N (Lond ), NDN, RGN The nurse practitioner is able to treat minor illnesses and injuries, as well as offering health advice and management of long-term illness and chronic disease management. Patients have the opportunity to make an appointment with Sharon in the same way as they make an appointment to see their GP.

Nurses

Our practice nurses, Linda Webb, Cathy Appleby and Eileen Derricutt. The nurses are available by appointment throughout the day to deal with minor illnesses and advise you on many aspects of health care.

Healthcare Assistants

Mandy Goswell and Susan Goldsmith are our two healthcare assistants who take blood and check blood pressures. They also perform ECG’s and 24 hour blood pressure monitoring.

Neil Mackay is our Practice Manager who is responsible for our administrative team and is always pleased to help you with any problems regarding the practice.

Jill Carter and Teresa Talbot are in charge of the secretarial side. Mandy Baynes and Sharon Lane are in charge of data processing. Ann Fox leads the reception team of Julie Herbert, Susan Goldsmith, Sarah Clarke, Sally Edney, Lynn Powell, Wendy Lehman and Rachel McAneny. All our staff are here to help you.

Community Midwives

Marian Walsh (f)
Marian Walsh RGN RM is our midwife and she shares your antenatal care with your doctor. She will arrange parent-craft classes for you during your pregnancy and care for you on your return from hospital.

Community Nurses

The district nurse team who are available for nursing assessment and care of patients in their homes. Messages may be left for them at reception. Their contact number is 01252 335598.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitors are responsible for the promotion of health for babies and young children. They can be contacted Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00 on 01252 373057/544298 . Baby clinics are held on Tuesday afternoons 13:30 - 15:30 at St Peter’s Church Hall, Church Avenue, Farnborough.
